Bdos: Mottley thinks Trinis are stupid
DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER Mia Mottley yesterday denied there was a link between Government’s imposition of a monitoring licence on Trinidad and Tobago imports and its fishing and maritime delimitation dispute.
She said the action was not simply designed to restrict imports from Trinidad and Tobago, or any other territory, but was in relation to the protection of Barbados’ manufacturing sector under the CARICOM Single Market and Economy’s revised Treaty of Chaguaramas.
If you've been following the "fishing dispute" story, it's clear that this statement is absurd on the face of it. After Arthur's statements, it's a shame that AG Mottley think she can get away with insulting the public's intelligence.
