Blz: Encouraging entrepreneurship

Way to go. Yup, wealth is created by average Joes doing things like this.
Some twenty five thousand dollars were invested in six fledgling entrepreneurs this morning at the Youth For the Future (YFF). This morning marked the culmination of three months of business training given to some thirty youth who participated in the YFF’s Youth Enterprise Unit (YEU) loan opportunity program.

The innovative businesses underway include Sharlette’s snack shop; twin brothers Hugh and Howard’s block factory; Herbert’s lobster traps; Geraldine’s fashion clothing store, Javier’s creative design company, and Gilbert’s pig project.

All loan recipients agreed that starting a business would be no easy task, but they are focused on their goal, and have become motivated to succeed.
