St. Maart: U.S. beef on St. Maarten's plates once more

St. Maarten's Federal Department of Health allows Cost-U-Less to import U.S. beef for six months provided that the company seek FDH permission for each import, and submit documentation showing that the beef is not tainted by BSE, aka mad cow disease. Cost-U-Less resumed importation of U.S. beef on Tuesday.

The upside is that grocery stores in Dutch St. Maarten are now competitive with French St. Maarten which had never ceased importation of U.S. beef.
