T&T: Whence the boils?

I'm posting this in the hope that somebody out there might have a clue about the cause of and remedy for Noel Lochan's condition.

Princes Town teenager Noel Lochan shows the painful boils which have taken over most of his body. The boils developed last year but were small, and got worse over a week as he scratched and irritated them.

I've never seen anything like it before.
