The government is committed to the fight against the US in the World Trade Organization in relation to Internet gambling, even as the US prepares to appeal, an official reported.

"We understand that the US intends to appeal the ruling; we intend to fight that appeal all the way," Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Errol Cort told the SUN last Friday.

According to World Trade News, the WTO panel issued its final report which is "largely unchanged" from its preliminary ruling against the US ban on month ago.
