Bdos: Re-establishing the natural order of things

West Indies return to Kensington today eyeing a third consecutive victory in a rain-hit limited-overs series.

After the abandonment of three straight matches and the West Indies’ double success at the Beausejour Stadium last weekend, one thing is sure. England cannot win the series. At best they can level it 2-2.

As the West Indies press for a 3-1 series win, captain Brian Lara looks beyond just a result.

“We look at it as an opportunity to improve,” he said.

“We assessed the game on Saturday. I thought there was some improvement on Sunday even though the scores were the same.

“Tomorrow [today] is not a situation on a roll. We just want to make sure that we improve on our performances.”
