TT: Bacchus had a poor interview

That is the sole reason why Gene Bacchus, a pro-active administrator much admired by the students at San Fernando Senior Comprehensive School, did not become the school's principal.

To the best of my recollection, Gene Bacchus was not an inspiring figure at staff meetings. However, he did what was necessary to have a performing school. One would think that the Teaching Service Commission would include on-site evaluations as part of the selection process for principals. As it stands, the TSC has indicated that anyone with a good line of Barbra Streisand can become a principal.
