TT: Pass the change, Manning
President of the T&T Unified Teachers’ Association Trevor Oliver is calling on the Prime Minister to “run de bread.”
Speaking before the start of last night’s general council meeting at Chaguanas Junior Secondary School, Oliver said yesterday’s day of “rest and reflection” was a success.
“TTUTA vows to continue the struggle until teachers receive a just wage,” Oliver said.
He said more days of “rest and reflection” was a consideration as the general council looked at yesterday’s figures to plan the way forward.
However, Oliver said based on tomorrow’s meeting with the Chief Personnel Officer, the union would decide on its next step.
