British media and pornography baron Richard Desmond and a group of institutional investors are set to lodge bids to buy Hollinger International's assets, which include a 40 percent stake in Cayman Free Press, along with the Jerusalem Post, Chicago Sun-Times and the Telegraph portfolio in the UK.
