Cuba: Soooeeee!!! Castro's feeding at the Venezuelan trough

Baghdad Bob is alive and well and living in Cuba.

Read the communist spin on a Wall Street Journal article. Caveat lector: The following text is a verbatim Cuban retranslation of the original WSJ English text.

"This past February 1, The Wall Street Journal published an article under the headline 'Venezuela and Cuba strengthen ties and U.S. fears anti-trade influence' signed by Alexei Barrionuevo in Houston and José de Córdoba in Caracas.

"This article says, among other things:

“Without making a lot of noise about it, Venezuela’s leftist government has become the main means of financial support for Cuba since the Soviet Union withdrew its support for Fidel Castro more than a decade ago.

“During the last three years, Cuba has accumulated a debt of US $752 million by way of oil sent by Venezuela’s state oil company, PDVSA, according to internal documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal."

The official Cuban response? It's lies, damned lies, and er....
