Bmda: Ignore the damned lying statistics

American tourists to Bermuda accused the State Department of being a bunch of drama queens with their latest travel advisory to the vacation spot. It seems that nobody read the advisory but the State Department, the PM and governor of Bermuda, and the journalist who wrote the story. Tourists indicated they were clueless about how crime ridden Bermuda is supposed to be until they saw the article in Monday's Royal Gazette. Those interviewed said they felt safe in Bermuda. So why the very strong advisory about Bermuda? The U. K. Foreign Office, whose advisory is not as alarmist as the U. S. State Department's, said that it had something to do with "occasional incidents of drug-related crime."

Lies, damned lies, and statistics, indeed.
