Bdos: Let your fingers do the walking
Cable & Wireless has announced a 59% rate cut for Bajan clients making international cell-phone calls within the Caribbean. Here's what the new rates will look like, and going by this, I don't even want to do the math for the old rates.
"A typical business user will now pay $2.70 per minute during the daytime for a call to the USA and $1.50 per minute on a call to Trinidad & Tobago, savings of some 18 per cent and 28 per cent, respectively."
Why can't C&W have Caricom rates and treat the Caribbean as one local calling area? Who in the Caribbean thinks international when they think of other countries in the region? Let's wait patiently to see what TSTT does now.
