T&T: Like the brain drain catching up with T&T

"Although Atlantic LNG is already building a fourth liquefied natural gas train and is contemplating a fifth at its Pt Fortin facility, the company has raised concerns about its ability to staff another train because of a shortage of skilled labour.

"Atlantic president Rick Cape yesterday agreed there was a need to build capacity and capability in the country.

"Agreeing with the Energy Ministry's view, Cape said: "We too see a shortage of trained and skilled people. We're concerned about staffing our next train as well as identifying our next corporate leaders."
