B'mas: The courage of Kaleisha Rolle

Is there anybody out there who can help Kaleisha Rolle get a well fitting artificial limb? This girl's courage and perseverance is remarkable.

"At the age of eight, Kaleisha Rolle lost her leg after a battle with bone cancer. Without being able to afford an artificial limb, the 15-year-old C.V. Bethel Senior High student is confined to the use of crutches.

"Despite her disability and the fact that she competes with athletes with two legs, Kaleisha has excelled in sports, garnering many awards. She's on the her school's swim team; she throws the javelin; the short put; the discus; and she plays softball, nearly qualifying for the Carifta team on several occasions.

"How does she do it all, you may ask?

"The school's principal Ms. Eunease Beneby says it's all because Kaleshia has a winning attitude."
