Michael Christie does a fairly comprehensive assessment of the state of the press in the Caribbean and finds the free press is in danger in Haiti, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Dominica, Jamaica, and St. Lucia itself. The article is a good wake-up call.
