T&T: Bomb competition

Skylark or Highland playing Ray Charles's I Just Can't Stop Loving You. They're a small band with 12 members. People are singing along; the song, like Ray Charles, is an old favorite. Sounds like nice arrangement to chip to. [Chipping is dancing to steelband, sort of dragging the feet in small steps]. The arrangement has lots of stops but not enough there to make fans break out from a chip to a jump up. Not much variation on the basic theme either. They'd have been better off leaving this number for when the band is heading home Carnival Tuesday night. Everybody's tired; you don't need a jump up. The chip will take you home mellow.

I've come to the conclusion that this commentator is an idiot. He's not taking too much care to enunciate band names and playing pieces though he knows he's playing to an international audience.
