T&T: Vain talk makes a grieving mom look elsewhere for aid
A grieving Ann Caesar-Maldonado, mother of American citizen Camelia Caesar Nyack, who was gunned down on February 26 while visiting a friend in Arima, has sworn to get assistance from the US-based Department of Homeland Security to deal with the escalating crime situation in TT, when she returns to her home in Boston. The Department of Homeland Security is the coordinating body for all crime prevention and crime-fighting bodies in the USA. “Now that I am a US citizen, once I return to Boston I intend to tackle the Homeland Security Department to do something about crime in TT. It is too ridiculous. “Crime now is worse in TT than in the states. I could walk on any street in New York or Boston at anytime with my jewelry or money and feel safe.
