Bdos: Well, duh!

THE Internet is a useful tool but some students are using it for plagiarism and, according to a head teacher, it seems to be making books become an endangered species.

Alvin Carter, principal of the Louis Lynch Secondary School revealed this at his school’s Prize Giving and Speech Day last Wednesday and told his audience which included parents, principals and Ministry officials that there are negative sides to the availability and use of the technology.

The principal pointed out that there’s a tendency to go to the Internet and just download material, “just bind it and submit it.”
