Cuba: The sky is falling in
HAVANA, April 21 (Ariel Delgado Covarrubias / www.cubanet.org) - Eggs, an important part of Cubans' diets, have been in short supply for months now, reaching prices of up to three pesos in the black market and 12 cents in the dollar stores when consumers can find them.
Now the minister of Internal Commerce, Bárbara Castillo, has said that starting next month, eggs will be available in the open markets, those outside the government's rationing system.
