Tbgo: Energy role for Tobago

Chief Secretary Orville London told the opening of the Sixth Western Hemispheric Meeting on Tuesday that Tobago intended to play a significant role in the energy sector in the country.

He said he expected the marriage of energy and tourism to boost the economy of the island and thanked the organising committee for selecting Trinidad and Tobago for the meeting and Tobago for the venue. He added that the ambience provided in the island was good for the deliberations of the meeting that ended on Wednesday.
