Gya: US servicement exempted from ICC prosecution

Parliament has ratified the agreement to exempt US servicemen from prosecution by the International Criminal Court (ICC), a move that the government maintains is in the national interest.

The National Assembly approved the motion for the ratification on Monday without dissent from the ranks of the opposition, which was reduced to GAP/WPA's Shirley Melville
One thing the Abu Ghraib boondoggle has clearly demonstrated is the will of the U.S. to police and prosecute its own. No need to subject U.S. soldiers to the ICC.
