U.S.: Bill Cosby on Brown vs Bd. of Education

Some have been throwing a fit over Cosby's remarks at the NAACP's gala commemorating the 50th anniversary of the SCt decision on the case. Nobody who has ever watched any Bill Cosby show can think that what Cosby said at the gala is anything but what he believes. Here's a clip from Cosby's speech to listen for yourself. Cosby's from the same school of thought on this as is Thomas Sowell. Read Sowell's Race and Culture. In fact, read anything by Sowell.

After the struggle for civil rights, after Brown vs Board of Education, the next black person who says that to be educated, to be smart, to be studious, to excel in school is to act white ought to be smacked solidly upside the head. At best, he is a lazy or frightened bum who either wants to do nothing or is scared of trying; at worst, he is a fool who does not know his history.
