U.S.: Fahrenheit 9/11

Fahrenheit 9/11 is a CaribPundit production consisting of the images the media refuse to show us any more.

We have been bombarded by images of Abu Ghraib. We've been pelted with the disinformation of Michael Moore and the Democrats. Democrat strategists wonder openly if the Bush adminstration will raise the terrorism alert level as a way of manipulating the American public. This level of cynicism is astonishing, even for Democrats.

To hear them tell it, 9/11 never happened. It is as though thousands of us were never murdered whilst we went about our everyday business. To hear Democrats tell it, Islamic terrorism is not a threat, but is a tool used by the Bush administration to wage war, to stay in power. So, John Kerry finds himself too busy to be briefed on security matters, even as he campaigns for president in a time of war.

Regardless of what the Democrats and their fellow travelers think, we live in perilous times. We have enemies who would kill us because of who we are not -- Arab, Muslim; for whom our lives have no meaning because of who we are -- Western, Jew, Christian, Hindu, Sikh, atheist, whatever. We cannot afford to forget the enemy that is at our gates, that is inside our gates. Lest we wind up like Troy, we cannot afford to forget 9/11. We cannot afford to ignore what happened to us, who did it to us, and how they would happily do it again.

Fahrenheit 9/11 is purposed to help us to remember why we must fight and never surrender, neither to Democrat cynicism nor to Islamic dhimmitude.

To survive, we must remain eternally vigilant.
