Bdos: The RC weighs in

Blackett said the time has come for Caribbean nationals to stop referring to each other as foreigners.

“There is now a situation of us and them, we and them and the minute we make people the other, we are headed for problems... we have heard things like ‘dem Bajans’ and ‘dem Trinis’; that sort of language would never help a situation of crisis,” he said.

He ought to hear what we call each other when we belong to the same country. At least "dem Bajans" and "dem Trinis" still is polite.
