Bdos: uhWaaah, waaah! waaah! Fishing dispute heads to the UN
Barbados has taken the fishing dispute with Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
In a press statement yesterday afternoon at Government headquarters, Barbados’ Prime Minister Owen Arthur said he and Prime Minister Patrick Manning of Trinidad and Tobago had met earlier in the day at Villa Nova St. John, where they held cordial discussions on a number of issues which have been the cause of recent concern to both countries’ governments.
Common sense on the fishing dispute between T&T and Barbados. Here, too.
PM Arthur and others gallerying the issue here.
If PM Arthur is playing this up for votes, in the long run he'll lose cuz people vote with their pocket books.
