Bmda: Age is just a number

Ninety-seven year old Edna Scott, a former teacher and headmistress who was still on the job at 74, "who up until last year was driving other seniors around for the Red Cross, is now taking part in a major new study designed to expose how seniors are really living in Bermuda. According to Mrs Scott, "too many seniors 'switch off' when they get to a certain age but that it’s up to society to convince them they still have a role to play."

Here's hoping the government of Trinidad and Tobago, where mandatory retirement is at 60, is listening.
