T&T: Bird flu hits Noo farms

Some 18,000 egg-laying hens (locally termed as layers) are to be destroyed today, in an attempt to prevent the spread of “Infectious Laryngotracheitis?” a highly contagious disease which is threatening the stability of the million-dollar local poultry market.
