USVI: Schoolboy gunslinger

Police on Tuesday arrested a 13-year-old student at the Nazarene Christian School after he pointed a loaded gun at a schoolmate, a 13-year-old girl.

Police spokesman Sgt. Thomas Hannah said the weapon, a .40-caliber, semi-automatic handgun, easily could have discharged had the safety catch not been on.
