T&T: Exodus's Panorama victory sounds well deserved
i955fm is running Exodus playing De Fosto's War in 2004. Lots of sweet runs, clean sweet sound from the tenors backed by a delicious base arrangment in which the base and tenors sometimes make the same short runs. A boss cello and guitar section. Good, strong effective use of staccato and musical dynamics. They've got a tenor-base dialogue that is soooo hot!! What an arrangement! Brilliant stuff. In places, the phrasing owes a lot to classical music, but that's hardly new with steelbands. Tchaikovsky would've been pleased with the end.
