THREE months on the job and new Tourism Minister Howard Chin Lee is talking passionately about drastically turning the industry around-making it a major contributor to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and one of the largest sources of sustainable employment.

In fact he already has preliminary Cabinet approval to put in train a grand plan that could see Trinidad becoming the business tourism capital of the region-with the construction of what he calls a Tourism Industrial Park.

Chin Lee described the industrial park as the Mecca for tourism on the island.
