West Indies drubs South Africa

It took the West Indies six whole weeks and eight whole matches to put a licking on South Africa. Finally, the former terrors of the cricket world have done it!

West Indies beat Australia in the fourth One-Day International held at Supersport Park. They set for South Africa an insurmountable total of "298 with seven wickets and five overs to spare." The victory leaves the West Indies in the happy position of a "fifth and final" must-win match to take place on Wednesday at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. Since Windies have a 2-1 deficit, the best the boys can hope for is a draw of the One-Day series.

Let's go, boys!
