Atg: I'm a victim!

Antigua & Barbuda's former prime minister Lester Bird has described the move by the ruling United Progressive Party (UPP) to get all political appointees to resign as "victimisation."

Speaking to the SUN, Bird said, "obviously it is victimisation unless they can demonstrate that the people who they are talking about are really political appointments which would affect the running and governance of their party and of the running of the country.

Bird opined he had warned the electorate of the impending action of the UPP before they took office.
Victimhood is the last refuge of scoundrels.

Also, no new taxes in the new Antiguan budget.
