St. Kts: CCJ symposium

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) - Barbados' Chief Justice Sir David Simmons yesterday officially opened a regional symposium focused on intellectual property and international trade as they relate to the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).

The two-day meeting is being sponsored by the International Intellectual Property Institute, in conjunction with the US Patent and Trademarks Office and the Barbados Ministry of Industry and International Business.

The theme of the conference is "The Caribbean Court of Justice: The Effect on Intellectual Property and International Trade."
