U.S.: Did another one bite the dust?

[I]t appears that Abu Musab Zarqawi is dead - for real this time.

Based on further investigation, however, it does not appear that Zarqawi died a martyr’s death, but met his demise in a manner much like the infamous Abi Nidal, the despicable Palestinian terrorist who was found dead in his Baghdad apartment in August 2002. Nidal was reportedly in ill health and initial reports listed his death as suicide. Zarqawi, meanwhile, suffered from another kind of ailment – visibility disorder that was caused by his desire to fill the void of the leadership of al Qaeda. In fact, Palestinian leader Abdalaziz Rantissi suffered from the same type of ailment and received treatment from Israeli forces. Could it be that US Special Ops provided the same treatment to Zarqawi within the Republic of Iran? We think so. Could it be that the information we provided to our federal contacts was combined with other actionable intelligence that facilitated Zarqawi’s treatment plan? We think so. If our collective findings prove to be true, does this suggest a turn in the methodology of special operations that was decimated during the incoherent nature of the last administration? Does it indicate that the US and Israel are now reading from the same playbook? Again, we think so.
I hope so. I also hope the sobs are whacked as they're found. Dag, I know I lived in Brooklyn too long.
