USVI: Human traffickers caught

ST. THOMAS - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested three Chinese nationals accused of fraudulently using Singapore passports and a Singapore national who officers said was paid to smuggle them into the United States at King Airport on Monday afternoon.

According to an affidavit from Customs and Border Protection Officer Pedro Ortiz, four people presented to inspectors at the departure control area of the airport Singapore passports with I-94 visas attached. Inspectors noticed that the admission stamps on the visas appeared to be fake, the affidavit states, and the four were referred for a secondary inspection.
