U.S.: A little bit of wine...

Tonight was graduation, and I didn't go. An M.A. is nice, but a PhD is more useful. When I finish the work for that, I'll attend the graduation ceremony. I've got to earn some mega-bucks first, though, in order to get back to the PhD.

Instead, I went outside to do the usual skipping (jump-rope) routine but could only manage one hundred. Last night I did 600 high stepping skips, and figured I'd do 1200 tonight. Hah! At least I worked on my obliques and glutes.

So, defeated by tired feet, I crawled back in after 100+ skips and decided I was going to blog tonight; catch up with the news in the Caribbean and stuff like that.

But first, a semi-celebratory drink. One drink became two.

Now, I'm well nigh ready to nod out ... thanks to two glasses of sherry. Yeah, I'm a ccheap drunk. Hic!

I spent the day wrestling with two CSS problems, one of which is sholved solved. Finally figured out how to fix the glitch on the blog that everybody's been complaining about -- that right margin overlap issue. Once I've modified the template, the overlap will only occur if you shrink your window to six inches or so. I could be wrong, though, cuz I work on a laptop. Ooops! Let's correct that. It's not just any ol' laptop, it's an iBook. The computer that crashes only when I crash it. I've succeeded in doing that twice.

Go ahead, applaud. I'll take my three bows. Moi, Helen, I managed to crash my iBook, Baby, and bring up the dreaded UNIX command line on startup.

So, since I don't have the energy or the sobriety to stay awake for the next two-three hours, I bid you adieu and goodnight.
