Bdos: Windies should get back to marble cricket

Remember marble cricket? Back in the 50s and 60s it was a popular version of “the gentleman’s game” with batsmen and bowlers kneeling and wicket keepers grabbing every chance to stump batsmen who failed to “ground the bat”.
Marble cricket might be the only thing to rescue Windies and save fans the humiliation of the team being defeated by the weakest of the weak in the cricketing world.
AT BEAUSEJOUR STADIUM – It’s becoming more and more unbearable.

And the unpredictably of West Indies cricket is becoming more and more predictable.

A position at the start of the day that seemed likely to be converted into certain victory was transformed into an ignominious draw on the fifth and final day of the first Cable & Wireless Test against Bangladesh here yesterday.

There doesn’t seem to be any logical explanation over why they were unable to press home their commanding position against the newest and weakest of the ten Test-playing nations.
