U.S.: Random thoughts on the passing sceneJohn Kerry is calling for the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission to "be implemented now!"
That seems to be a gratuitous feel good call given that the Bush administration has not hesitated to act on the report. Ten to one, the Kerry campaign will say that Bush is following their advice. That's what they do, take Bush ideas, use them, and then claim Bush is listening to them. Yeah, right. Not an original thought in the whole bunch of Democrats, not even Barack Obama.
Given also that he has been absent from Congress for most of the past year, will Kerry, so concerned about national security that he regarded a question about the delay of Nov. 2nd elections to be a mere hypothetical, be on hand to cast a vote to pass the Commission's recommendations? His voting history this year says that is unlikely.
Check this out, sweet, totally sweet!
Watch a very Kerry weekend.
