Barbados thankful the Dems lost power

Are the Dems mice or men? That is what Barbados Labour Party (BLP) is asking about the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).

As with Dems in the U.S. the Dems in Barbados seem to have abandoned their ideological and philosophical roots, are acting as though they are the party in power, and have intra-party communication problems.

This is a crushing assessment of the Dems in Barbados might well echo here in the U.S.: "All right-thinking Barbadians know that the Dems need to do some work to justify their earnings from hard-working Barbadians. They are intellectually absent from Parliament and physically absent from George Street. Where are they?

Barbadians knew what they were doing and they knew who they wanted back in May 2003. We all shudder to think what the state of affairs would be like in Barbados if the Dems were in power. We take serious note that DaSilva said they still have some very serious issues to deal with."
