U.S.: The gay travesty bassi-bassa
This whole bassi-bassa has demonstrated just who it is who is not interested in, or slow to uphold the law when matters pertaining to their ideological inclinations arise. Only now has Eliot Spitzer (D), AG of NYS, finally spoken up, after having been asked by the governor, George "Spineless" Pataki, to stop the travesties from occurring. Out in CA, the mayor of San Francisco, Mark Newsom (D), is still "solemnizing" the travesties without regard to the law. The state's AG (D) had to be nudged to say anything; even then, Newsom (D) is doing as he well pleases.
Now, contrast this with the behavior of Wiliam Pryor (R), AG of Alabama in the matter of Chief Judge Roy Moore and the Ten Commandments monument. AG Pryor (R) is a Christian who acted in accord with the law, in spite of religious faith.
Would that Democrats had such regard for the law.
