Arb: Building the welfare state

ARUBA – With the approval of the 2003 budget of Social Affairs and Infrastructure, the Parliament gave Minister Marisol Lopez-Tromp the go ahead for her policy.  However, the most obvious change was effected on the initiative of the parliament, namely the increase of the social security- or welfare benefits with 10 percent.
