Cuba: Castro's friends in low places shoot gobar

HAVANA, Cuba, April 19 (Ernesto Roque / www.cubanet.org) - Someone pelted the home of Cuban dissident Henry Saumel with jars of human excrement during the nights of April 15 and 16.

Saumel said his indignation is not limited to his wife and himself; his neighbors are also irate because their homes also were splattered during the incidents.

Saumel said most likely the attacks are a reaction to a meeting a few days ago at his home in which a group of dissidents celebrated the second anniversary of the founding of the Republican Alternative Movement and cheered for liberty, democracy and human rights.
