T&T: Honors for Lara

CABINET yesterday agreed to name after West Indies captain Brian Lara an academy, a stadium and a heroes park among other things in recognition of his world record for the highest Test score of 400 not out in the 127 year history of the game.

Manning showered these gifts on Lara in an address to a special function in honour of the world record holder at the Brian Lara Promenade in Port of Spain, yesterday.

There was a huge crowd of supporters who stood in persistent rain to see the man Sport Minister Roger Boynes later described as the King of Cricket.
Okay. So when will Windies start to win?
