Vzla: That giant boom you hear...

May be the sound of the Venezuelan economy taking off.

CARACAS, Venezuela, April 22 (Reuters) - Venezuela's oil-reliant economy is heading for 9 percent to 10 percent growth this year as it recovers from a sharp downturn after months of political conflict, Finance Minister Tobias Nobrega said Thursday.

"The growth figure will probably be above the modest level we put in the budget, and it is heading to a range closer to 9 to 10 percent for the whole year," Nobrega said during a public meeting with bondholders in Caracas.
