Blz: Golden Girls win!

The Golden Girls of Belize, BTL Women’s Softball Team, proudly brought back the gold from an international competition that was held in Guatemala City this last weekend. The Belizean girls reign supreme once again. In the late 1970s Belize’s women’s softball teams were unbeatable. Then came a twenty-five year drought for Belizean softball women when it came to winning international softball tournaments. Now our Golden Girls are back in their old winning ways. So congratulations and champagne are in order for the National Softball Champions of Belize, BTL, who brought home the gold Monday afternoon. The BTL women captured the Third Central American Softball Championship in Guatemala City on Sunday.
