Cçao: Last dive

BONAIRE/CURACAO – On Saturday afternoon, divers have discovered the remains of a human skeleton and a partially perished diving outfit.  They did this near Karpata at a depth of approximately 300 feet.  They immediately informed the authorities that, with the assistance of professional divers and under leadership of the public prosecutor Ernst Wesselius, brought the remains to the surface yesterday morning.  The remains were bones of a right leg, part of the spinal column and the pelvic.  The remains of a diving outfit were found in the surrounding area.

Even though they still have to do a DNA-test, they think that the remains are from one of the two American divers that were missing since the beginning of January.  Thomas Ennis (54) and his son Brandon (29) went diving on January 2nd near Karpata.  They were going to make two dives and took extra tanks with them.  Those tanks were found in a pick-up truck not far from Bopec.  It was not only till the evening that the rest of the children gave alarm, so that the search couldn’t start till the next morning.
