Vzla: Gone missing

The Venezuelan Air Rescue Service (SAR) has admitted that it has been unable to locate a small plane N113L, flying a USA flag that disappeared last Saturday morning.

Although reports do not clearly indicate the plane's flight path, Venezuelan Air Force (FAV) sources indicate that the last radio contact was to inform control that the plane would change its landing destination plan from Barcelona (eastern Venezuela) to the Metropolitan Airport in Caracas.

It has been learned that there is some confusion about the pilot's identity but apparently he was the only crew member ... authorities are hinting of an irregular situation, possible a hijacking.

The Puerto Rico satellite signal has not come up with anything, which the experts interpret to mean that the plane didn't crash.
