Bdos: Cough it up
THE West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will have to fork out US$400,000 in refunds following the abandonment of the weekend’s back-to-back One-Day Internationals between West Indies and England.
And the estimated losses could rise to as much as US$900 000 when other expenses are added to the bill.
The disclosure was made yesterday by WICB chief marketing executive Darren Millien after the unseasonal rain that hit Trinidad for most of the last week prevented a single ball being bowled in the third Cable & Wireless One-Day International at the Queen’s Park Oval.
