Ja: CCJ Bills passed but Opposition must okay

THE Senate yesterday passed the remaining two companion Bills that should pave the way for the establishment of the Caribbean Court of Justice as the country's final appellate court, but Attorney-General and Minister of Justice A J Nicholson made it clear that the timetable for entrenchment of the court in the Jamaican constitution is dependent on cooperation from the Opposition on the issue.
