Sudan - Oh, Well, "We Are Late in Dufar"

Yet another report of the horrific conditions and the plight of black Sudanese. Muslims don't want them there.

"They say they don't want to see black skin on this land again," said Issa Bushara, whose brother and cousin were gunned down in front of their horrified families during an attack by the Janjaweed militia.

Men and boys are gunned down. Girls and women are raped. All survivors are driven off the land. Almost a million have been displaced. Almost all are starving in spite of "promised help" from aid agencies and their own government.

The U.N. has come and gone, and even Colin Powell was there. Nothing has changed except more pain and tragedy. Will there be a positive solution or will the world continue to look away until the problem has been solved to the satisfaction of the government of Sudan by natural decrease?
